The Ape was born in 1948 when Piaggio wanted to help small businesses and farmers transport goods in Italy’s narrow streets. It quickly became a beloved, practical solution.
Named After a Bee
“Ape” means "bee" in Italian, because of its buzzing sound, and it zips through tight spots and gets things where they need to go. Our Ciao Bella Pizza Truck fits measures 5x10 feet, and it needs additional 2 feet for rounding corners, plus its height is 8 feet.
Small But Mighty
Don’t let its small size fool you, the Ape can carry up to 1,500 lbs! Our Ciao Bella Ape carries our Quattro Duel Pizza Oven, Beverage Fridge, Pizza Prepping Station, Sink and Faucet, Nespresso Coffee Station and a lot of love.
